The privacy and protection of the personal data of all Clients and Users of the services offered or provided by Arrábida Experiences is an essential aspect of the way the company operates and organizes itself.
We want to ensure that our customers and users are aware of the rules and principles relating to the protection and processing of personal data, and Arrábida Experiences makes every effort to ensure and guarantee the security of this data, always in accordance with the standards and requirements of the applicable legislation, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to enable Clients and Users to understand how the company collects, processes and, above all, protects the personal information transmitted by all those who use the services or access the company’s website.

a) Definition of Personal Data

Personal data is any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, an identifiable person being one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
It is customary to distinguish between the following categories of personal data:
Database: information about Customers and Users that allows them to be identified (e.g. name, address, telephone number or e-mail address, etc.); Traffic data: information about the use of communications services (e.g. destination and origin numbers of calls made, date / time of communication, duration of communication, etc.); Location data: information about the geographical reference of the mobile terminal equipment at a given time or during the use of services.

 

2) Responsibility for collecting and processing personal data

a)The company’s responsibility

Arrábida Experiences is responsible for collecting and processing personal data.

b) Responsibility for data communicated to third parties

Arrábida Experiences may, in the exercise of its activity and within the scope of the services it provides, subcontract third parties for the execution of such services, for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes and for the development and management of its computer systems.
Third parties subcontracted by Arrábida Experiences are obliged to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and against any other form of unlawful processing.
Apart from this case, Arrábida Experiences will only transmit the personal data of its Customers and Users to third parties when (i) it is obliged to do so by virtue of a legal provision and only to the exact extent of its obligations or (ii), in cases where the law allows it, if the Customer or User authorizes such transmission and is duly informed of the recipients of the personal data and the purposes of the processing of the data transmitted.
Whenever it is necessary to communicate personal data of its Customers and Users to third parties, Arrábida Experiences will be responsible for the personal data that they have to transmit and guarantees that (i) the sharing of personal information complies with the legal rules in force, (ii) the transmission is carried out securely, and (iii) third parties are obliged to observe the duties of confidentiality and secrecy and to ensure the security of personal data communicated to them for this purpose, and may not use such data for any other purpose, for their own benefit or for the benefit of third parties, or correlate it with other data available to them.

c) Responsibility for third-party services and websites

The Arrábida Experiences website may contain links to third-party websites, products or services that are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
The receipt or processing of personal data requested by these third parties is their sole responsibility, and Arrábida Experiences cannot be held liable under any circumstances for the content, accuracy or veracity and legitimacy of these sites or for the misuse of data collected or processed through them.
We therefore alert our Customers and Users to this fact and to the need, before using the sites, products or applications, to read and accept the rules regarding the processing of personal data defined by these third parties.
