Diver Stress and Rescue
Diver stress is the biggest cause of diving accidents, but it can be easily prevented and solved. Learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents and learn diver rescue skills with SSI’s Stress and Rescue Diver Specialty program. Help yourself and other divers to be safe.
Pre-requisites:
- Open Water Diver
- Minimum of 20 logged dives
- First Aid Course (React Right ou equivalent)

Enriched Air NITROX
Want to extend your dive time, shorten your surface intervals and explore the dive sites you love longer? You’ll learn everything you need to plan and dive safely with enriched air mixes with up to 40% oxygen.

Duration: 3 hours (e-learning content + 1 dive)
Wreck Diving
Want to explore imposing shipwrecks? Or dive on World War aircraft covered in vibrant marine life? You’ll learn everything you need to dive above and around shipwrecks and artificial reefs.

Minimum age:: 10 years old
Training Fee:: 220€
Duration:: 2 days (includes theoretical e-learning + 3 mergulhos)
Deep Diving
Are you ready to become a deep diver and explore the deepest wrecks, encrusting coral walls, reefs, and more? Many great dive sites are in deep water and SSI’s Deep Diving Specialty teaches you how to plan and conduct dives between 18 and 40 meters deep.

React Right
Learn how to manage dive emergencies and treat injuries as a first aider with our React Right Specialty. In this emergency first aid course you will learn about first aid and CPR skills, stabilisation techniques, oxygen administration, basics of Automated External Defibrillation and much more.

Science of Diving
Increase your diving knowledge and gain a better understanding of your equipment, physics, the aquatic environment and more. After completing this dive science program you are halfway to receiving the coveted SSI Divemaster rating.

Duration:: 12 hours (online theory)
Dry Suit Diving
Become a drysuit diver and you can dive comfortably all year round, anywhere in the world. It’s the best way to extend your diving season, stay warm and explore dive sites in cold water with ease.

- Open Water Diver
Minimum age:: 12 years old
Duration:: 1 and a half days (includes theory, 1 confined water dive and 1 open water dive)
Perfet Buoyancy
Learn how to glide through the ocean effortlessly, increase your dive time, reduce air consumption and more. No matter what your diving interest is, having perfect buoyancy is the key to success. With this essential program, you’ll learn everything you need to master your buoyancy.

Duration:: 1 day (includes theoretical classes and 1 Confined Water Dive and 1 Open Water Dive)
Night and Limited Visibility
The diving doesn’t end when the sun goes down! Become a night diver and get to know the incredible marine life that only appears at night. You will learn everything you need to dive safely at night or in reduced visibility.

Search and Recovey
If you want to learn how to recover lost items underwater with ease, this course is perfect for you. You’ll learn everything you need to perform search and recovery dives safely and confidently and communicate underwater so you can find lost items with ease.

Duration:: 1 day (theoretical e-learning sessions, 1 confined water session and 2 open water sessions)
Fish Identification
The ocean is full of fascinating and beautiful fish of all shapes and sizes. Learn how to identify fish and get more out of your dives with this program. You’ll learn everything you need to identify common reef fish families from the Caribbean, Indo-Pacific and Red Sea.

Coral Identification
Coral reefs are vital to healthy oceans and are splendid for diving – especially when you know more about these fascinating ecosystems. SSI’s Coral Reef Identification program teaches you everything you need to identify common families of coral species.

Marine Ecology
