General Conditions
- These conditions refer to a service agreement between Arrábida Experiences and the Client.
- The acceptance of an activity proposal presupposes knowledge and acceptance of these conditions.
- These conditions of supply may be amended by any contracts or agreements entered into between Arrábida Experiences and the Client.
- This proposal is valid for 30 days.
Responsibilities of Arrábida Experiences
- Preparing and drafting all the logistics for the activity, before, during and after it takes place.
- Contemplate with the Client alternative solutions or dates for the activity, whenever for reasons beyond the control of Arrábida Experiences or the Client it is impossible to carry it out.
- Performing the activity as proposed and ensuring that it runs smoothly.
- Provide the Client with any additional costs if changes are requested that were not included in the initial proposal.
Client responsibilities
- Provide data of the number and name of the participants, as well as their date of birth, for the purposes of activating personal accident insurance.
- Ensure that all participants are in a state of health that allows them to take part in the activities.
- If you do not authorize the use of the audiovisual and photographic material captured during the activities for Arrábida Experiences promotional purposes, you must inform the employee accompanying the process.
- Personal belongings brought by participants to the activities are their sole responsibility and Arrábida Experiences cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to property.
Contracting Services and Payments
- An activity is considered contracted when the client completes the following procedures:
a) Submit a written document stating your intention to carry out the activity;
b) Payment of the financial allocation, amounting to 30% of the final value of the activity or in full if informed to the client by Arrábida Experiences. - The remaining cost of the activity (70%) can be paid up to the day of the activity or on the day itself.
- A voucher is considered granted when the customer completes the following procedures:
a) Submit a written document stating your intention to carry out the activity;
b) Payment in full (100%) of the voucher – After payment, you will receive a voucher valid for 2 years within 24 hours. - To make payments, you can use the following channels:
a) Bank transfer – To our account with IBAN:. PT50 0033 0000 4543 1505 5900 5 (Arrábida Experiences- Rúdi Lopes)
Proof of payment should be sent by email to the employee accompanying the case, or to geral@arrabidaexperiences.pt.
b) Check – Endorsed to : Rúdi Ingo Teixeira Lopes
Sent to: Rua Gonçalves Zarco, 3A, 2890 -714, Setúbal (we are not responsible for loss of post, so we recommend sending by registered letter).
c) Cash – Only possible for payment of the remaining amount of the activity, to be paid on the day of the activity.
d) Paypal – Arrábida Experiences offers an up-to-date payment method through a secure online payment platform, with the website: www.paypal.com.
4. Arrábida Experiences reserves the right to charge the amount agreed for the activity, even if there is an unforeseen reduction in the number of participants.
It may also refuse to allow more people to take part in the activity if they have not been provided for in the proposal and insurance.
Right of withdrawal
- Services (Experience Vouchers / Courses)
The Arrábida Experiences customer has the right to freely withdraw from the service contract without having to give any reason. The period for exercising the right of withdrawal expires 14 days from the day on which the customer purchased the experience voucher.
- Common provisions for services
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post, telephone, 969787615 or email to geral@arrabidaexperiences.pt . If you make use of this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal request by email without delay.
Refunds will be made within 14 days using the same payment method as the consumer, minus a €1.50 transfer fee.
Jurisdiction to settle consumer disputes
In the event of a consumer dispute, defined in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 144/2015, of September 8, the consumer may turn to the competent alternative consumer dispute resolution body.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the legislation, statutes and regulations to which the alternative dispute resolution bodies are bound, the consumer may opt for the European online dispute resolution platform available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr, the alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes in their place of residence or the alternative dispute resolution body with specialized competence, if it exists for the sector in question. You can consult the up-to-date list of all the alternative consumer resolution bodies available at www.consumidor.pt.
If there are no alternative dispute resolution body(ies) under the terms of the previous paragraph, or if the existing one(s) do not consider themselves competent due to the value of the dispute, the consumer can turn to the National Center for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes, located in Lisbon, with the email address: cniacc@unl.pt and available at www.arbitragemdeconsumo.org.
Cancellation, postponement and refunds
- Other activity hypotheses or different dates for carrying out the scheduled activity will be discussed in the following situations:
- a) Adverse weather or sea conditions;
- b) Force majeure such as wars, earthquakes, fires, pandemics…
- c) Situations of an unforeseen nature that could endanger the safety of participants;
- d) No minimum number of participants for the activity.
- Cancellation of an activity after payment of the fee does not imply a refund.
Each situation will be analyzed individually by Arrábida Experiences in order to find a viable solution for both parties.

Insurance
- Arrábida Experiences has civil liability insurance, which covers damage caused to third parties, up to a value of €50,000 per claim, under Policy Number xxxxxxxxxx.
- Personal accident insurance will be taken out for each activity.
- The insurances provided by Arrábida Experiences comply with Decree-Law no. 108/2009, art. 20.
